Great news in the Obama Camp regarding women. The campaign has coalesced a group of prominent women nationwide to get out and speak about the issues that concern women the most. The list includes Stacey Snider, Chairman of DreamWorks, Linda Chavez-Thompson, Executive Vice President Emerita, AFL-CIO, and Olympic gold-medalist Dominique Dawes.
Foremost, they will focus on McCain's opposition to equal pay legislation.
This is crucial for one very important reason: the women were told to go out and speak ON THE ISSUES (how novel!) They were coached to contrast the candidates on the issue of choice, the economy and equal pay...the topic of S.P. was NOT on the list.
This feels to me like a sign that things are getting back on track...the right track. When Obama wins in November it will be a double victory. Not only will he have won the Presidency but he will have won the population over without the use of Rove-Morris ick.
