The Universe knew we needed extra good news at the end of a grim week...
The most recent Gallup Poll shows Obama up 5 points...that is a record since this whole thing began. He is up to 49% on the national poll! Gallup has been known to be wrong, and we know polling does not include cell phones.
But I'm still taking this as a good sign.
Also: My school yard/PTO conversations regarding the current state of the GOP have been quiet. The word about town is: Don't mention Palin, she is an embarrassment no matter how you slice her. The seems to be a BI-PARTISAN opinion. Yes, I live in a Red County in a Blue State...but basically she has become a topic of ridicule on both sides (among the mommies...have not spoken to any dads yet...)

It would be a tragedy for our country and the world if this man is not elected president...by a landslide. Someone so gifted and brilliant comes along once in a blue moon. That's why we can't leave one stone (or Republican or Independent) unturned in working for this cause. I'll breathe easier when he hits 51%.
