In Search Of A Summer Afternoon

This is the day the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it! Psalm 119

"Each moment of the year has
its own beauty."

- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Summer afternoon . . . summer afternoon - the two most beautiful
words in the English language.
- Henry James

We have been cooped up for a week trying to recover from various ills. Trying to get outside to enjoy the fresh air has been no easy task. It does not help that it is still quite cold.

I'm prone to thinking Emerson is right to find beauty in each season, today it seems that James holds the truth.

Stay present and enjoy...will try. But I'm dreaming of lemonade on the front porch.
